Insulated Glass Options

Insulated glass is 2 or more panes of glass hermetically sealed to a spacer material designed to create air pockets between the panes. These dead airspaces give insulated glass its most basic insulation properties.

Clear insulated glass with the Intercept warm edge spacer system is standard on all Harry G. Barr windows and doors, but we offer numerous upgrades to increase the energy efficiency of the windows in your home.

Low - E Glass

With Performance Plus II Low-e glass your windows will save you energy all year long. In the summer most of the sun's heat is blocked from coming in your home. In the winter the heat that is generated inside your home is blocked by the low-e coating and reflected back into your rooms instead of letting it escape out your old windows.

Since Performance Plus II is designed to work year round and in every room it's beneficial to use it throughout your house.

High Performance Glass (HPG)

You can raise Low-e glass performance to an even higher level with our HPG option. Produced using Superspacer's No-Metal spacer system and argon gas in the airspace, HPG keeps the glass surface as warm as possible. This helps to reduce condensation and gives you our lowest possible U-value .
